UK Met French Programme

The French course includes academic tutoring for students learning French as Second Language. The French course can also be taught to students with general interest in learning the language from beginner to intermediate levels. Apart from general basic French, the course also supplements French Art and Literature studies, including in assisting students in French Speech competition.

Why learn French?​

Learning French holds numerous advantages that make it a worthwhile pursuit. Firstly, French is spoken by around 280 million people worldwide, making it one of the most widely spoken languages globally and an official language in 29 countries. This linguistic reach presents opportunities for cultural immersion, travel, and communication with diverse communities. French is also considered the language of diplomacy, as it is one of the official languages of the United Nations, the European Union, and numerous international organisations. Proficiency in French can open doors to careers in diplomacy, international relations, and global organisations. Additionally, learning French can enhance cognitive abilities, as studies have shown that bilingualism improves memory, attention span, and problem-solving skills.

UK MET由資深的母語法語教師授課，涵蓋從初級到中級學術水平的所有法語課程，幫助無數學生高分通過DELF及DALF法語鑑定考試，在DSE考試中斬獲A等級佳績。二者文憑由法國教育部統一頒發，屬國際認可文憑，特別為非法語系國家人士而設的語文鑑證考試，其有效期為終生。同時自2025年起，DELF和DALF考試為香港DSE官方指定語言考試。除了取得專業學術成就外，法語作為全世界最常用的語言之一，將讓在UK MET 學習法語的學生從中受益。
